Linda made the following observations about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s upcoming wedding all the way from New York during a spirited bicoastal telephone conversation on the morning of Tuesday, March 6th, 2018.  The interview has been edited for greater clarity.

Linda Joyce:

Prince Harry and Prince William received unconditional love from Princess Diana.  It took Harry two decades to recover from his mother’s tragic death in 1997 and he wasn’t “present” in previous relationships.  Meghan Markle came along when both had had time to grow up and find out who they were, so the timing was perfect!

Charity work has always been a big part of life for both Harry and Meghan.  Harry’s own rugged athleticism led him to create the Invictus Games. Meghan’s biracial background equipped her well for a career on stage and in international studies as she learned to empathize with others and try to see both sides while dealing with two very different yet loving parents.  She is also a very hard worker and the United Nations is lucky to have her as an advocate!

Both Harry and Meghan face life from an “underdog” perspective.  Prince Harry is the second son in a royal system still ruled by primogeniture, so his older brother William was the one who was groomed to be king almost from birth.  Growing up, the boys were sometimes known as “the heir and the spare.”  While a typically assertive only child, Meghan is of course a “commoner” from a racially mixed family that was sometimes discriminated against.

At the same time, Meghan learned to be very confident and outspoken from childhood onward.  She was already writing letters to Hillary Clinton and Gloria Allred about women’s issues at the age of 11!  She was never easy to typecast in Hollywood or anywhere else.

Their recent escape to Botswana showed that Harry and Meghan can put their private lives first.  But hopefully Meghan’s experiences in Hollywood will help her to deal with being in the public eye when she assumes her royal duties.

With minorities on the rise worldwide, Meghan Markle represents a new reality.  Her independent all-American spirit will help to drive her royal marriage forward.

Thankfully, Harry’s family also loves Meghan and may have learned some hard lessons from the disastrous marriage between Prince Charles and Princess Diana.  Meghan and Prince William’s wife, Princess Catherine, might be pitted against each other as rivals by the gossip-loving British press, but right now the two women are very good friends.

The royal wedding is scheduled for Saturday, May 19th (just two days after this reporter’s birthday on May 17th!)  According to Linda Joyce, May 15th will see a major astrological shift towards change, service, and spirituality that augurs well for the royal pair.

It almost seems as if Diana is orchestrating this match made in heaven from on high!  She raised two amazing men who chose two amazing women for their wives, so her legacy will live on through these marriages.  You heard it here from Linda Joyce!
